About Me
Since childhood, I was the kid who picked up a crayon or a pen, even grandma’s eyebrow pencil + vintage frosty blue eyeshadow. Playing. Creating. Disappearing into art. As an adult, I’m happy to say that that has not changed. For the past 20+ years, I have been honing my craft, working as a makeup artist in film + production, working as a traveling MUA on National tours, appearing on TLC’s What Not to WEAR MANY moons ago as a MUA for a special 2-hr episode. I work mainly in the commercial world, the bridal world, + on photoshoots working with some of the most talented folks I know in our beautiful city. I also love doing glam. Horror. Transformations. Teaching classes. Helping the everyday human, just like myself, really see themselves + leaving them feeling a bit more polished. Confident. BAD*ss. Beautiful. After many years of kind of losing that spark, I took some time away to heal + in that time, I connected with little me. The artistic, free, wild, lost in a fairytale, expressive me that I missed so much. I started to make DISCO art with my little side PASSION project, Compact Disco Cleveland. I picked up a pen again. I began to lose myself in art, once again. My dream came true. I was accepted into the gallery at one of the coolest spots in Cleveland, RIFFS. Shoutout To Riffs. You not only fulfilled a dream. You helped me see myself and grow as an artist. Through this healing and marrying all of my creative worlds together, I have found a voice. My goal is to keep kicking butt on shoots and working with my favorite people in film production. To keep making people feel magical. Beautiful. Confident. My goal is to make little me proud + continue to draw. Write. Color. Loose myself in imagination in a world that wants to keep you colorblind. Complacent. Relying on AI + technology to do it all for you because “look how easy it is”…. We all rely on tech, and there is nothing wrong with that, but when AI + TECH starts to replace us with computers. Our art. Our voice. Our video shoots. Our commercials. US beautiful humans REPLACED with creepily animated versions of our faces. Our expressions. Us. That’s where I draw the line.
Hello!
So let’s work together. Makeup. Special effects. Art commissions. Art Installations. Illustrations. Film + stage props. Put me if your gallery. Let me share my story. Let me help others see that the little kid, who talked way too much. Lost themselves in art while stuck in math class. The kid that had a dream and lost that spark. Let me help you see that we can be whatever the F*ck we want to be. Also . . . Hire me! Hire the sound techs. The grips. The messy artists. The storytellers. The makeup artists. The stylists. The cinematographers. Hire myself, and the humans that want to make the world a bit magical, with stories + art, told + created by humans. For humans. See you on set, or in your gallery soon!
